The BushAdministration has emphasized such issues as developing new missions and capabilitiesto combat terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of
4、mass destruction (WMD).However, Iraqs future and Afghanistan dominated the meetings. Some allies are criticalof U.S. leadership in Iraq. Most allies believe that the stabilization of Afghanistan is thealliances key task. Other issues of note under discussion were new capabilities; NATOsrole in the B
