3、L. 109-90 FY2006 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) appropriations appropriated a total of $2.97 billion for state and local homeland security grantprograms. This was $645 million less than was appropriated for these programs inFY2005 ($3.61 billion). The act did not propose to alter the funding
4、formula for theState Homeland Security Grant Program and the Law Enforcement TerrorismPrevention Program. It did require, however, that states update their State HomelandSecurity Strategies in accordance with the Interim National Preparedness Goal to beeligible for federal homeland security assistan
