Each agency has a backlog of deferred maintenance (DM), defined as maintenance not performed as needed and put off for a future
4、time. For FY2020, the backlog for NPS was reported at $14.4 billion, FS at $5.9 billion, BLM at $4.1 billion, and FWS at $1.5 billion.
