3、I appreciate the Subcommittees concerns about suspected treaty violations by the Russian Federation,as well as its concerns about the constraints the treaty imposes on the United States.As is well known to Subcommittee Members,the INF Treaty prohibits the United States and Russia from testing or fie
4、lding ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles with ranges between 500-5,500 kilometers(km).At the same time,a number of other countries are building up sizable arsenals of these types of missiles.After more than 25 years,it is an appropriate time to take stock of the INF Treaty and assess its
