3、Memorandum,this issuance:Establishes policies,defines processes,and assigns responsibilities for managing U.S.GDP pursuant to the guidance in the February 28,2008,Deputy Secretary of Defense Memorandum.Establishes the Global Posture Executive Council(GPEC)as the DoD oversight body for GDP,including DoD Components,the Department of State Bureau of Political-Military Affairs(DOS/PM),and the National Security Council Staff(NSCS).
