2、o update policy and responsibilities for the evacuation of U.S.citizens and designated aliens from threatened areas abroad,in accordance with Executive Order 12656(Reference(b)and the memorandum of agreement between the Departments of State(DOS)and Defense(Reference(c).This directive also cancels th
3、e designation of the Secretary of Army as Executive Agent for the repatriation of DoD noncombatants.2.APPLICABILITY.This directive applies to OSD,the Military Departments,the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff(CJCS)and the Joint Staff,the Combatant Commands,the Office of the Inspect
