3、and authorizes a process for identifying,developing,adopting,establishing,prescribing,and publishing technical standards for DoD information technology(IT)in accordance with the guidance in DoDD 8000.01 and pursuant to Sections 142,2223(a)(3),and 2224 of Title 10,United States Code(U.S.C.).These technical standards:Include national security systems(NSS)and defense business systems(DBS).Enable interoperability,information sharing,reuse,portability,innovation,and cybersecurity.
